Beth El is a home where Judaism is lived, community is family, learning inspires action, prayer touches the heart, and deeds repair the world.

Beth El Synagogue is an inclusive faith-based community founded on Conservative Jewish laws and values. All are welcome and invited to participate!

Membership at Beth El is a relationship and true partnership, where members are aligned with a desire to be part of a synagogue community dedicated to Jewish learning, spirituality, and tikkun olam – repairing the world. In turn, Beth El establishes a warm and welcoming learning environment, provides spiritual guidance, inspires activities to make the world a better place, and facilitates meaningful opportunities for community involvement and congregational leadership.

Thank you for your interest in our community. We hope you will find our synagogue to be warm and welcoming – a place where Jewish life is vibrant, and members feel at home with their Beth El family.

We invite you and your family to get to know us and gain a sense of our community. Come and participate in programs, events, and services that interest you. Our rabbis, cantor, and staff would love to meet you and share details about the programs and offerings that meet your interests and needs.

If you are interested in finding out more about our Beth El community, please contact us to arrange a time to meet in person. Liz Rappaport, our Director of Membership and Engagement, looks forward to answering your questions, providing a tour, and helping you learn about our community. Please contact Liz at 952.873.7314 or lrappaport@bethelsynagogue.org You may review our membership materials here.

Financial Support

Membership at Beth El is not viewed through a financial lens and members are not required to pay dues. Rather, we ask participants to consider making a voluntary gift to our community of tzedakah (charitable donation) that comes from the heart, rather than an assessed fee or obligation. We want everyone to have the opportunity to support the work of Beth El at an amount you find meaningful and comfortable.

Please contact Matt Walzer, our Managing Director at 952.873.7309 or mwalzer@bethelsynagogue.org if you have questions or would like to explore a gift of support to Beth El.
