About Us

Thank you for your interest in our community. We hope that you will find our synagogue to be warm and welcoming – a place where Jewish life is vibrant and members feel at home with their Beth El family.

We invite you and your family to get to know us and gain a sense of our community. Come and participate in programs, events, and services that interest you. Our rabbis, cantor and staff would love to meet you and share details about the programs and offerings that meet your interests and needs.

If you are interested in finding out more about our Beth El community, please contact us to set up a time to meet in person. Executive Director Linda Goldberg, 952.873.7302, lgoldberg@bethelsynagogue.org or Welcome Services Manager Liz Rappaport, 952.873.7314, lrappaport@bethelsynagogue.org would love to answer your questions, provide a tour, and help you learn about our community.

We are pleased to offer complimentary one – year memberships to newly married couples! All newlyweds are welcome to participate in this program – local couples, couples new to Beth El or the Twin Cities including those who lived out of town and are moving back, interfaith couples, and gay or straight couples.

Parents – please let us know if your son or daughter is newly married or engaged to be married.

Through participation in our wide array of learning opportunities, social and volunteer activities, and services, we love helping and watching young couples connect with others as they create a Jewish home together.

Young Adults

Did you know there’s an active, open group for young adults in their 20’s and 30’s waiting to welcome newbies?

  • Social, learning, networking, good conversation and good food!
  • Torah on Tap, Shabbat dinners and more
  • Singles, couples, gay or straight, with or without children, locally grown or imported – all are welcome to participate!

Parents – have a child or grandchild in town? Know a 20’s or 30’s colleagues, neighbor or friend looking to meet other Jewish folks their age? Please contact Rabbi Olitzky , at aolitzky@bethelsynaogue.org with suggested names!
