Jeanette Longman Yellen, age 93 of St. Louis Park, MN, was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on March 15th, 1919, the same day that the American Legion was formed. Ironically she worked for the American Legion Minnesota Headquarters as the executive secretary for each state commander for over thirty years. She married Harry Yellen on June 17th, 1946 in St. Paul, Minnesota.. She is survived by her children, Fern & Jim Rocklin of Sioux City, Iowa and Caryn & Fred Goldberg of Plymouth, Minnesota; grandchildren, Margo Rocklin, Ross & Lauren Rocklin, Michelle Goldberg all of Chicago, Illinois and Matt Goldberg of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She will be missed by her many relatives and friends who appreciated her warmth, kindness and intelligence. Graveside service TUESDAY 3PM at WEST SIDE HEBREW CEMETERY, 1250 Barclay St., St. Paul.
