ELUL LUNCH & LEARNS WITH RABBI GOLDBERG
September 8, 15, and 18 | 12:00-1:00 pm
Averting the Severe Decree: A Closer Look at Teshuvah, Tefillah, and Tzedakah
In preparation for the High Holy Days, we will explore the three central practices our tradition teaches can lessen the severity of judgment: teshuvah (return or repentance), tefillah (prayer), and tzedakah (justice and giving).
Together we will pair classical texts and commentaries with modern interpretations, and discuss how these enduring concepts might shape our lives today.
All are welcome to participate in any or all of the sessions.
