Diane Mashaal, Age 81 died peacefully on June 29, 2020 at her home in Edina, Minnesota with her husband of 56 years by her side. Diane was born September 25, 1938 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, moved to Montreal, attended the University of Montreal where she met her husband. Diane was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She was a constant presence of support and love, attending every graduation, swim meet, orchestra concert, choir concerts, and Eagle Scout ceremonies with pride. Diane was a brilliant cook, a formidable bridge player, and a seasoned traveler who loved the arts and filling her home with treasures from her travels. She was preceded in death by her parents Art and Margerite Fauvel. She is survived by her beloved husband, Saul Mashaal, her daughter Gilah Mashaal; her son David Mashaal and his wife Cynthia Mashaal; her brother Jean Fauvel; and her cherished grandchildren, Gabrielle Mashaal-Timm and her husband Tyler Timm, Zachary Mashaal, Aiden Mashaal, and Sarah Mashaal.
