Alan Yousha
Immediate Past President
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Alan moved to Minnesota with his wife Michelle in 1998, joining Beth El shortly after in 1999. Alan & Michelle raised four children in the community, all attending Beth El Aleph School, becoming B’nai Mitzvah, teaching in the Beth El’s TaRBuT program, and engaging in BERUSY.
Alan served on the HMJDS and Talmud Torah Boards before joining the Beth El Board in 2014. Initially chairing our Kehilah Committee and as President Elect, our Strategic Planning Committee, Alan served two terms on the Board before starting his tenure as Beth El’s President in 2020. As immediate past president, Alan continues to serve on the Executive Committee and is currently engaged in developing the next phase of Beth El’s strategic plan.
